Desserts - Alice Kuhar's Recipes

1 pkg. Yellow cake mix (2 layer)
1/3 cup oil
1 egg
Filling Ingredients:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Combine dry cake mix, oil and one egg until crumbly. Reserve one cup of mixture. Pat remaining mixture into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Beat cream cheese, sugar, one egg and lemon juice until light and smooth. Spread over baked layer; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture and bake 15 minutes longer. Cool and cut into bars.

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup margarine
3/4 cup water
1-1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
Topping Ingredients:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, 1/2 softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In a saucepan, combine margarine, water, and unsweetened chocolate; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour mixture. Add eggs and sour cream and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.

Topping: Blend together cream cheese and sugar, stir in the egg. Spoon over chocolate batter, cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
